Dry Out
Non Metal Refactory
Refractory dryout, also known as bake out is the process for removing both the mechanical water (added during the mixing process) and chemical water (originally added in manufacturing) from the lining system. By dryout process, the mechanical water is turned into steam and forced out of the refractory by the heat. This process removes moisture and ensures the refractory material is fully solidified, preventing issues like steam explosions or premature failure during high-temperature operation.
